More decorating!

Here we go again! Why is it when you complete one room the rest of the house looks like it needs a paint job? We have been planning to do the living room for a while now. I must of had my baby brain on when we first moved to this house as I chose a very modern suite and furniture. It was lovely, but I'm a country style girl at heart so out with the old and in with the new.
We had to paint(I say we but I really mean DH)the walls white yesterday to cover the brown(baby brain!) and already it looks better. Painter coming tonight to start all the woodwork and the hopefully start the papering. I love wallpaper, I have chosen a gold stripe this time, to match my new red sofa.
This is what it looks like today. Will keep you updated on the progress!

    Good luck with the decorating - I really need to do most of (ok all) of my house again since we had the extension done 5 years ago...can't believe it's that long...but Niamh was just born as we were nearing the finish...xox
